Community Dietitian
To provide free and prompt access to dietetic services to high need and Maori patients, based in Waitara with additional outreach clinics in North Taranaki.

The aim of this project is to remove the cost barrier to accessing sexual health consultations by providing free GP/Nurse consultations for youth under the age of 25.
Lift the Lip
To benefit the oral health of children under 5 by using practice nurses to, check the child has been enrolled with the School Dental Service, check the children’s teeth for overt signs of tooth decay and refer on appropriately. Provide parents / caregivers with information on good oral hygiene practice and information about the causes of tooth decay /caries.
Health Clinic at Waitara High School
A school based clinic based at Waitara High School with a decile rating of 2. This offers an alternative site for youth to access confidential health information and treatment services at no cost.
Podiatry
This aims to improve access to subsidised community based podiatry services for those at risk in the North Taranaki region.
Central Taranaki LMG Area
(Opunake, Eltham, Stratford and Inglewood)

This project is intended to improve the care of terminally ill patients in their home environment by increasing access to primary care through GP home visits.
